TRIDENT GROUP PARTICIPATES IN SUCCESSFUL SALE OF MISSION PHARMACAL DIAGNOSTIC PRODUCT LINE
AMBLER, PA (January 9, 2008) - Trident Group, LLC announces its participation in the successful sale of a significant line of diagnostic products by Mission Pharmacal. Trident represented the privately held San Antonio, Texas based pharmaceutical company in its negotiations with the purchaser, Quest Diagnostics Incorporated (NYSE: DGX). Terms of the transaction completed December 3, 2007 are not available for disclosure.
Mission’s diagnostic line of products included in the transaction was comprised of Urorisk® Diagnostic Profile, StoneRisk® Diagnostic Profile, StoneTrack Diagnostic Monitoring Test, StoneRisk® Citrate Test, and StoneRisk® Cystine Tests. These products help physicians diagnose those who are symptomatic and aid in previously diagnosed patient’s chance of a kidney stone forming again. Some of these tests were available to physicians already through Quest Diagnostics over recent years, making the decision for the transaction a logical step.
